On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Takashi Horiuchi, Vice President of Plus W Inc., will speak at the “Pakistan IT Seminar — Digital Partnership between Japan and Pakistan,” to be held at JETRO Hall, JETRO Headquarters.

Held to coincide with the visit to Japan of Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, this seminar introduces the growth potential of Pakistan's IT industry, its economic and corporate trends, and the possibilities for collaboration with Japanese companies. The program features a keynote address by the Minister, followed by speakers from government bodies, related organizations, and companies of both countries, each presenting the latest developments and concrete initiatives from their respective standpoints.

Mr. Horiuchi will speak on the theme “Activities and Experience in Pakistan IT Talent Development.” He plans to share the practical work Plus W has undertaken in partnership with Pakistani government agencies and universities — from developing local IT talent and providing Japanese language and cultural education, to creating employment and collaboration opportunities at Japanese companies — along with the insights gained from this experience.

Plus W will continue to connect outstanding IT talent in Pakistan with Japanese companies, contributing to the creation of sustainable business partnerships that go beyond talent exchange.
